Berkeley Park Pool

The Berkeley Park and The Battery pool and clubhouse is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day Weekend.
 

Pool Rules

Pool Hours are from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. every day during the season.

WARNING: No life guard on duty.

  • No animals in the pool or on the pool deck (except for person requiring assist animals)
  • No horseplay or running around the pool area.
  • No food or drink in pool and no food on pool deck.
  • No Glass containers in the pool area.
  • No diving.
  • No loud music.
  • No music with explicit lyrics or profanity.
  • All children under 4 years to wear appropriate swimming diaper, rubber pants and flotation devices while in pool area.
  • No toys in pool, except for such designed for pool use.
  • Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Due to the size of our pool and the limited number of parking spaces, use of the pool should be limited primarily to Berkeley Park residents with the OCCASIONAL invited guest considered acceptable. Please be courteous of your neighbors when inviting guests and limit the number of non-residents at the pool.

The Berkeley Park Pool will close at 10:00 p.m. each evening, WITH NO EXCEPTIONS.
 
 

Berkeley Park Homeowners Association Pool Reservation Policy

  1. Reservations must be made at least seven days prior to the requested date by calling Paige Craft at 865-934-7995.
  2. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
  3. Reservations require a NON-REFUNDABLE $50.00 fee. (check preferred)
  4. A $75.00 security deposit made payable to BPHOA is required in order to secure your reservation. The security deposit will be returned if the pool and pool area are left in good condition, as determined by a pool committee member. If the pool area is not left in proper condition, the check will be deposited to cover any expenses incurred in returning the pool area to its proper condition.
  5. Cleanup is the responsibility of the party reserving the pool (refer to Item 4) and must be completed before the pool reopens for public use. Trash must be bagged and placed in trash containers. The restrooms must be clean and in order, and all items on the “Party Cleanup” sheet must be completed
  6. Daytime reservations (prior to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday) may only be made for a maximum TWO-HOUR period. No more than one two-hour reservation will be accepted per day. Daytime reservations will not be accepted on Saturdays or Sundays.
  7. Evening reservations (after 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday) may only be made from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. No evening reservations accepted on Fridays.
  8. To accommodate more of the neighborhood, the maximum number of reservations Monday through Friday will be TWO (daytime and evening combined).
  9. No reservations will be accepted for holiday weekends or the final day of school. These weekends include Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July weekend, and Labor Day weekend.
  10. Set-up for a reservation may begin 30 minutes prior to the reservation time. A party notice is suggested. This may be a sign hung on the gate several hours before party start time.
  11. A calendar will remain posted near the restrooms, notifying Berkeley Park residents of reserved dates and times. These notices will be posted at least four days prior to the reservation. In addition, a sign will be posted near the pool parking lot on the morning of the reserved day. When possible, an E-Mail notice with a calendar of reservation dates will be posted and distributed to homeowners.
  12. All parties require supervision by an adult 21 years of age or older.
  13. A liability waiver will be required to be signed by all BP/Battery residents.
